Markus J. Kalmutzki has studied Chemistry at the University of Tübingen, Germany, where he also received his PhD and continued his work there as a postdoctoral fellow supported by the Innovations Grant of the University of Tübingen. He then went on to become a DFG-postdoctoral fellow in the group of Omar M. Yaghi at the University of California, Berkeley. He is currently product manager and application specialist for measurement of porosity and particle characterization at Anton Paar Germany GmbH.
