H.E. Ahmed Mohammed Al Kaabi, Ministry of Energy and Industry, Assistant Under-Secretary for Oil, Gas and Mineral Resources. He obtained his Bachelor’s degree from the United States of America and Master’s degree in oil and gas from the French Institute of Petroleum in 2008. Al Kaabi enjoys a vast experience in oil market economics, prior to joining the Ministry of Energy & Industry; Al Kaabi worked as Director of ADNOC’s office in Singapore.
He is a member of the World Petroleum Council (WPC) and serves as board member of the Bahrain-based Arab Shipbuilding and Repair Yard (ASRY). He is a member in advising committee at Arab Industrial Development and Mining Organization in Morocco.
Recently he has appointed as the UAE’s Governor for the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC).
