Dr Gehan Sallam, currently working as clinical research nurses at OB/Gyn, UAEU, She Joined the academic field since 2017. Gehan completed her Bachelor since of nursing Ain Shams University, Cairo, Egypt in 1996, then earned her Master degree at 2016 and PhD at 2022 form the same university. Gehan has great experience in nursing field started as critical care nurse at Egypt, worked in different hospitals abroad such as at King Dom of Saudi Arabia, UAE and Egypt. She was Certified Diabetes Educator from Leicester University UK, specialized as CDE, she uses all of her teaching modalities to teach different categories such as; (patient, family, health care professional, medical and nursing student). Gehan developed & designed many patient and family education leaflet in both language Arabic & English along with coordination of many community outreach program. She has good experience as an examiner for medical student for many OSCE & MiniCex exam. She coordinated and contributed in many scientific researches. Being speaker in many conferences in Congress on Endometriosis and Uterine Disorder at January 2024 workshop title (Role of Nurses in Patient Quality of Life with Endometriosis).
