UAE Innovates is one of the world's largest innovation festivals, bringing together the government, the private sector, and people to create a culture of innovation in the UAE and strengthen its position as a global hub for innovation. The festival aims to foster the development of creative ideas and capabilities, as well as support the UAE's national innovation strategy.

During the UAE Innovates, the United Arab Emirates University celebrates and offer diverse program with a wide range of innovation activities including lectures, workshops, innovation presentations, awards, developments in academic research and scientific discussions and seminars, brainstorming sessions, and scientific conferences concerned with innovation and scientific excellence, stressing the role of the university in creating the appropriate environment for its students, researchers, and employees to transfer knowledge and develop creative projects and innovations.

The UAE Innovates festival's activities cover a wide range of topics, including space, health, nutrition, engineering, defense, information security, robots, drones, artificial intelligence, and other topics that contribute to finding innovative and sustainable solutions to the country's, region's, and global challenges.

Welcoming Statement

Innovation aims to enhance the government's directions according to its strategic plan to shift to a knowledge-based and innovation-based economy for the various critical sectors identified for the year 2030. It also aims to prepare for next fifty years as well as monitor the challenges facing the production of high-quality research in the country and the region in line with the rapid growth of the economies of emerging countries and increase standards of competitiveness in building the knowledge-based economy through three main pillars: scientific research, technical development, and innovation. These pillars have to be increased in all sectors and their outputs have to be in line with the requirements of the national economy.
