Inviting students and graduates of the College of Education to provide examples of innovative ideas and their impact on teaching and learning.
The workshop invites students to participate in a competition to design an innovative product, technology, or application to advance or improve methods for assessing the nutritional properties of foods. This competition requires the students to express their ideas effectively and convincingly. This competition is expected to encourage dialogue to improve current methods of measuring nutritional status and improving nutritional quality of foods. It then generates innovation in important food areas. In fact, the nutritional condition of individuals determines their risk of disease resulting from malnutrition that may affect their well-being and ultimately physical performance. Effective and efficient tools are needed to assess nutritional condition and make early diagnosis. Besides, providing healthy food is a health condition in itself.
