Dr Bassam AL-Hemsi is a MD with an MBA & Medical Informatics certification: with 33 years of experience in Medicine, 23 years’ experience in Medical Informatics, & 19 years’ experience in Educational Informatics.

• A surgeon with wide clinical & administrative exposure to the National Health System through working in 6 major health sectors within Saudi Arabia. In addition his exposure to International Health Systems in UK, & USA…(FRCS Edinburgh, UK, & Transplant Fellowship: UVA,USA) Certified in Medical Informatics (Portland, OHSU,USA), and Business & Administration (MBA: University of Leicester, U.K.); helped in establishing the 1st medical Informatics department in 2000 NGHA,SA, and the Mastermind behind establishing the 1st online medical curriculum in the Middle East.
