Presentations will be scheduled into 15 minute blocks + 5 minutes for Q & A.
All oral presentations should be in English, with the exception of presentations where
the language of tuition is Arabic (e.g. Law, Arabic Literature.)
Projectors and laptops will be provided.
Copies of presentation media for oral presentations should be submitted to the conference
organizers by 28/03/2018, for 2 purposes:
So that a reserve copy can be kept in the classroom for the presenter(s) on the day
of the conference.
So that a copy of the presentation media can be included in the conference resource
pack, made available to all participants on the day and for viewing post-conference.
Any required media or special equipment should be coordinated and requested from the
organizing committee ahead of a time, by sending a request to the conference email
USRC.info@usrc.ac.ae, one month before the conference date at the latest (by 18/03/2018).
We recommend that you use Power Point to outline your research presentation, since
we cannot ensure that other programs (keynote, Prezi…) will work efficiently.
Make sure that your introductory slide includes the following:
Conference logo (available to download from our website)
Your university logo or name
College, department, supervisor or other details you wish to display
