We are seeking submissions that represent a significant contribution to applied geophysics. This award specifically focuses on innovative contributions that substantially advance the application of geophysics to near-surface problems.

How to Enter

ICEG 2026 attendees who wish to be considered for one of the finalists’ positions in The Innovation Award for Geophysics (oral session) should submit a full paper and accompanying application, as follows:

1. Submit abstract via the EasyChair webpage by the conference abstract deadline.

2. The author sends a separate email indicating their desire to be considered for the award. (Chair of the Award Committee Prof. Hakim Saibi, E-mail: hakim.saibi@uaeu.ac.ae)

3. The authors will be requested to submit a full paper and submit two reference letters.

4. The Innovation Award Committee reviews candidate papers and generates a finalist list.

5. All documents are reviewed, and finalists are selected to present at the pre-conference session (13 April 2026).

6. During the pre-conference session, the Innovation Award Committee will evaluate the presentations and materials, providing its recommendations.

7. Awards will be presented during the opening ceremony.
