Amina Bouymajjane holds an engineering degree in "Agroeconomics" from the National School of Agriculture in Morocco. Currently, she is a PhD candidate specializing in natural resources economics at the International Water Research Institute (IWRI), Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P). Amina's current research is focused on the economic impact of water and soil salinity on crop productivity and rural development in Morocco.

Wei-Chun Chuang is a Doctoral student at Bioenvironmental Systems Engineering of National Taiwan University. He has an education background in architecture and civil Engineering and a research experience in China exploring post-disaster reconstruction of the nature resort – Jiuzhaigou. He is interested in quantitative methods and quantification for assessing food-water-energy nexus of gardens.

Wael Almikaeel is a doctoral candidate at the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava. He is pursuing his specialization in water resources engineering. His research portfolio includes investigating river flow data to formulate strategies for mitigating hydrological droughts and examining various data types to detect seasonality in the Topla River, culminating in an advanced model.

Lucia Gastoldi is a post-doctoral associate in marine ecophysiology at the Water Research Center at New York University Abu Dhabi, under the supervision of John Burt. She holds a BSc in Biological Science from the University of Milan (Italy), a two-year MSc in Marine Biology from Polytechnic University of Marche (Italy), and a three-year PhD from the same university, in Marine Biology and Ecology.
