Emanuele Borgonovo is currently a Full Professor at Bocconi University. He is co-editor-in-chief of the European Journal of Operational Research, advisor of the Springer International Series in Management Science and Operations Research, Co-Chair of the Committee on Uncertainty Analysis of the European Safety and Reliability Association, and member of the Scientific Committee of the Fondazione Silvio Tronchetti Provera. He has been the 2020-2022 President of the Decision Analysis Society of INFORMS. At Bocconi University he has been Director of the Bachelor in Economics, Management, and Computer Science from 2016-2022.
He holds a Ph.D. in Probabilistic Risk Assessment from MIT, has worked in several international research cooperations, and is the recipient of several national and international awards. He has published over 100 papers in scientific international journals. His research interests concern Machine Learning, Sensitivity Analysis, Decision Analysis, Risk Analysis, and Uncertainty Quantification. In his works, he has introduced several new sensitivity analysis techniques. His the differential importance measure, has been introduced in the NASA Probabilistic Risk Assessment Procedures Guide for NASA Managers and Practitioners.

Morten Bennedsen is Professor of Economics at the University of Copenhagen and Visiting Professor at INSEAD. He was for more than a decade the André and Rosalie Hoffmann Chair in Family Firms and the Academic leader of the Wendel Center for Family Enterprise at INSEAD. He obtained his PhD from Harvard University and is today one of the world’s leading experts on family firms and their impact on the society.
MB is an expert on family business, boards and sustainability. He has written 3 book manuscripts, published 30+ articles (mostly) in top economics and finance journals, 35+ business cases, 30+articles in applied journals and policy reports and 200+ popular media articles and interviews on 6 continents. He also writes regular columns in leading media outlets in China, Hong Kong, Korea and Taiwan. He has written continuously for the last 6 years for the Chinese Family Business Review. MB has served as an advisor to global family firms, the Danish and UK Government, EU, private equity funds, World Economic Forum, The World Bank and other national and supranational institutions. He regularly give talks and teach executive programs to business families, advisors and investors around the globe. MB teaches families in business, MBAs and executives on the global and regional challenges that Asian family firms face today.

Arman Eshraghi is a Professor of Finance and Chair of Finance and Investment at Cardiff Business School, UK. His academic research spans finance, accounting and psychology with interests including behavioural finance, financial technology and corporate governance. His work is published in some of the leading journals of the field, cited in the media including the Financial Times, Washington Post, Harvard Business Review, Forbes and Bloomberg, and contributed to handbooks published by Cambridge University, Wiley, Springer and Routledge. Professor Eshraghi is an Editor of International Review of Economics and Finance, Senior Editor of Finance Research Letters, Shimomura Fellow of the Development Bank of Japan, Fellow of the Centre for the Study of Decision-Making Uncertainty at UCL, Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, Director of the Cardiff Fintech Research Group, and an Advisory Board Member of Fintech Wales. Prof. Samuel A. Vigne is a Professor of Finance at Luiss Business School, Rome, Italy. Previously, he was an Associate Professor with Trinity College Dublin. He obtained his PhD in Finance from Trinity College, Dublin, an MSc Finance (University of Dublin), a PGCHET (Queen’s University), and a BSc in Business Economics (Universität Mannheim). His research interests include econometric modelling, international finance, and corporate finance. His research is widely published in leading academic outlets, such as, amongst others, the Journal of Corporate Finance, and the European Journal of Operational Research. Furthermore, Professor Vigne serves as the Editor-in-Chief of Elsevier’s Finance Research Letters, one of the leading academic finance journals in the world, which is ranked as the number 1 journal by impact worldwide.
Professor Vigne also serves as Associate Editor for the International Review of Financial Analysis, the Journal of International Financial Markets, Institutions & Money, and Research in International Business and Finance, amongst other academic outlets. Furthermore, Professor Vigne is a consultant for the Association of the Independent Professionals and the Self Employed and develops policy recommendations for HM Government, the Bank of England, and the Government of India. Jia Liu is a Professor of Accounting and Finance at the University of Portsmouth, UK. She received her Ph.D. from the University of Birmingham, UK, and previously worked at the Universities of Leeds and Salford. Her research comprises corporate finance, behavioural finance, sustainable finance, ESG, financial markets, Fintech and Big Data, and accounting reporting and disclosure. She has published her work widely in finance, accounting and management journals, as well as monographs on corporate governance, sustainability and decision-making. Her work has been critically acclaimed, and she is the recipient of several international awards. Her scholarly research has regularly formed the basis of articles in the commercial and popular Press, including The Conversation and The Washington Post.
She is an executive member and SIG Chair of the British Accounting and Finance Association and the British Academy of Management, and a consultant for the UK government's Co-Op Bank project. She also serves as the Editor of the International Journal of Finance and Economics, and Associate Editor of the British Journal of Management, International Review of Financial Analysis, British Accounting Review; is an Editorial Board Member of Corporate Governance: An International Review, and a Guest Editor of a number of internationally-peer-reviewed journals. Prof. Sabri Boubaker is a Professor of Finance. He has a PhD from the Université de Paris-Est, awarded in 2006, and an accreditation to supervise research (HDR) from the same university, awarded in 2010. His research interests are the ownership structure and control of listed companies. Sabri Boubaker has published many academic papers in international journals. He is co-founder and co-chair of the annual Paris Financial Management Conference (2013) and the Vietnam Symposium in Banking and Finance (VSBF) series (2016). Matthias is a professor of managerial accounting at the University of Frankfurt. He is interested in the areas of performance measurement – especially with respect to managing sustainability performance – as well as the digital transformation of management control. He was a visiting scholar at Harvard Business School, a visiting professor at the University of Chicago (Booth School of Business) as well as an adjunct professor at INSEAD. Prof Malmi is a professor of managerial accounting at Aalto University, Finland. Prof Malmi researches management control systems and their applications and consequences in organisations and society. He has published in the top accounting journals such as Accounting Organisations and Society, Management Accounting Research, British Accounting Review and Journal of Management Accounting Research. Prof Malmi has considerable industry experience which include chairmanship and board membership of a number of European companies (e.g. Nordic Healthcare Group).
