Depending on your nationality, you might not be required to apply for a Visa prior to your departure, as you will receive your Visa upon arrival in the UAE (See list below). However, please note that
Visitors must have a Passport that is valid for at least 6 months from the date of the entry to the UAE.
All Visas applied for are subject to the approval by the Immigration Authorities and maybe rejected without a given reason.
All Visa charges have to be paid at the time of application and are non-refundable. So if a Visa is not granted by the Immigration Authorities, the cost of the Visa charged cannot be refunded or adjusted.
GCC citizens
If you are a citizen of a GCC country, you do not require a visa to visit the UAE. You need to present your passport or government-issued ID card at the point of entry into the UAE.
GCC residents
GCC residents need to apply for visa online on the websites of General Directorate of Residency and Foreign Affairs, Dubai or Ministry of Interior.
Exempted nationalities:
Citizens of the following countries DO NOT need to apply for a visa; they will get entry permission directly from the airport:
1. Andorra |
17. Hong Kong |
31. Norway
32. Poland |
Required UAE Entry Visa Documentation:
Clear scanned passport copy of each applicant in jpg format.
Scanned colored passport size photo or 2x2 inch photo of each applicant.
Valid credit card to make a payment.
Recommend to apply for visa at least 2 weeks prior to arrival.
While the airline, travel agency and hotel can apply for your visa, please make sure
you give yourself enough time for it to be approved, and note that they do not take
responsibility if the visa is declined.
Otherwise, you will need to apply for a visa through your nearest UAE embassy. An
eye scan will be required at the airport.
