Presenting a research project that you have worked on for months in an ePoster is a challenge! Choose a limited number of main points you want your audience to understand, including:
Prepare for Success: Audience Awareness
At the USRC, your ePoster will be viewed by a mixed audience and it should therefore be easily understood by people from different academic backgrounds, not just specialists in your field. Take time to show why your research is important within your field and how it is relevant or beneficial in the ‘real world’. Avoid using a lot of technical details or ‘jargon’.
Prepare for Success: Effective Visuals
Present your ideas in an attractive way, without presenting all the procedural details of your study (e.g. data analysis). If the audience want to know more about technical points, they will ask you on the day.

By following these instructions, your ePoster will be compatible with the conference TV and Computer screens.
Each ePoster should contain the following elements:
ePosters should contain 4 slides: Introduction, Methods, Results and Conclusions
Slide 1: Introduction: This slide should include two elements, Background and Research Aims
Slide 2: Methods: Here, you should have information about the methods used in your research
Slide 3: Results: Here, you should have information about the results of your research
Slide 4: Conclusions: Here, you should have information about the conclusions of your research
