Abstract Guidelines
Who is eligible to participate?
All undergraduate students from UAEU
Only registered and active undergraduate students are eligible to participate.
How to choose a research project for the conference?
You can submit an abstract for any research project you have already completed, individually or as a group (max. 4 participants).
You may only submit an abstract for your own original research.
If you’re submitting an abstract for a group project, you should get permission from all group members beforehand.
What to submit?
You need to submit a well-written abstract (max. 200 words) of your research project. Please see the section on
ABSTRACT WRITING for guidance.
In addition to the abstract, we also require the following details from you:
Your contact details
Co-presenters’ details (if any)
Your research supervisor’s contact details
How to submit?
All applicants must submit their abstracts online using the
Abstract Submission link

The submission deadline is 18

March 2021.
What happens after you submit your abstract?
Abstracts will be reviewed by a selection panel from your institute/college.
Your UAEU college will select the best 7 abstract proposals as follows:
All applicants will be notified about the outcome of their application by email.
Abstract Writing Guidelines
You should write your abstract in English unless you completed your research project for a course delivered in Arabic.
Your abstract should be a one paragraph summary (max. 200 words) of your research project.
Abstracts should include the following points (only!):
Background about the topic / problem that you investigated
Aim(s) of your research project
Research methods
Results
Conclusion(s)
You should also provide a title for your research project (max. 20 words).
