Themed ‘The Future of Engineering and Well-being in UAE”, the 2^nd day of the Annual Research and Innovation Conference 2018 addressed issues including, innovative Engineering, Human Wellbeing, sustainability, applied sciences, multidisciplinary research and specialties.

College of Engineering Dean commends the research papers presented

Dr. Sabah Alkass, Dean of the College of Engineering, commended the research papers presented at the conference, stating that such an event opens avenues for students, researchers and practitioners in the field to exchange ideas and solution to common issues. It is also an opportunity to enhance collaborations among universities and serve UAE society by conducting significant research.

Papers showcased on the conference’s second day addressed topics including innovative and sustainable practices in the field by Dr. Jamal Al Tharif, Al Ain Municipality, spatial development and daily attitudes in mobility: with Dubai as a case study, by Dr. Sahrah Blaibla, UAEU College of Engineering.
