Women in Geosciences

For the first time ever, a Women in Geoscience (WIG) Panel will be held during the opening ceremony on 15 November 2015, enhancing the full and robust technical program of this conference. The WIG Panel will allow delegates to experience first-hand, the benefits of women with broad-based, diverse, and effective leadership skills.

The panel will discuss/construct future paths, current and desired workforce perceptions, and focus on achievable successes a broader, female leadership can provide. Panel coordinated by Ms. Maria Capello, WNC Chair.
