Her research activity is about methods for finite population sampling and statistical models for environmental problems. In finite populations her results concern Bayesian solutions for hierarchical superpopulation models and small area inference. With reference to environmental problems, her scientific production is about the development of hierarchical models and methods for air quality indicators. She is currently developing research both with Italian and foreign scholars. She is active also in promoting contacts with institutions interested in statistical analysis.
