Conference Guidelines

 

The 2017 conference is open to all Undergraduate Students in the United Arab Emirates University . All presentations will take place at the UAE University in the IT Building on the 2nd May 2017.

1. Only registered and currently active undergraduate students (selected by their university/college) are eligible to present on the 2017 conference day.
2. Each University is eligible to submit up to 6 projects with up to 3 Oral presentations and 3 Posters.
3. All contributions, either Oral or Posters, will be presented on the conference day at a time to be scheduled as follows:
   1. Oral Presentations: 15 minutes maximum presentation with 5 minutes for Q&A
   2. Posters: By attendance at the poster site or by augmented reality video or audio
4. All participants will receive a certificate of participation.

Cut Off Dates and Milestones

The 2017 Conference is open only to undergraduate students in the United Arab Emirates University.

• Colleges must send pre-nomination lists to the conference organisers by the 17^th February 2017 through the following online form.
• Participants/Presenters must register for the conference by  the 3^rd March 2017
• All selected students must submit their abstracts (presentations or posters) by the 17^th of March, 2017. Any abstract submitted after the due date may be rejected. Abstracts must be sent to usrc.info@uaeu.ac.ae.
• Help with poster printing - If assistance is required with the printing of posters, please contact the Organizing Committee before the 12^th April 2017. (Poster Guide)
  
  

Final Project Submission

All presentations (Power Point and Posters) should be submitted by email by the 13^th April 2017.

1. Posters for male students should be delivered in building H4 - 1033 or 1031.

2. Posters for female students should be delivered in building C5 - 0074.
