Keynote Speakers

    The International Environmetrics Society (TIES) was founded at a meeting of participants of the 1989 Conference on Environmetrics held in Cairo, Egypt. Two distinguished keynote speakers, statistician John Stewart Hunter and limnologist Richard A. Vollenweider, set the interdisciplinary tone of the conferences from the beginning. Currently, two regular lectures are arranged for the conference each year. 

    J. Stuart Hunter Lecture
    This annual lecture was established in 1996 by The International Environmetrics Society in honor of J. Stuart Hunter, who is now Professor Emeritus at the School of Engineering and Applied Science, Princeton University.

    The President's Invited Lecture was introduced in 2001
