This is the first bilateral conference between the UAE (led by the UAEU) and Italy (led by the University of Sassari) with the intention of having it every 2 years alternatively between the UAE and Italy as hosting countries.

The objectives of this conference are:

• Initiate venues of scientific collaboration between the UAEU and leading Italian universities in the fields of advanced materials and their applications
• Exchange of experience between researchers of the UAEU and Italian scientists
• Providing a platform for young researchers and graduate students at UAEU and other universities in the country to present their research findings to a global expert audience.
• Enable our students to benefit from the experience of the leading scientists in their respective fields of studies.
