Call for Abstract Submissions
The Division of Research and Graduate Studies at UAEU is pleased to invite you to submit an abstract for the Annual Research and Innovation Conference that will be held on November 21st and 22nd, 2016 at UAEU in Al Ain. This year, the conference focus is on health related research, including the following areas:
1. Medical sciences (Diabetes, Cardiovascular Diseases, Cancer, Infection & Inflammation, Neuroscience, Genetics).
2. Public Health (Occupational and Environmental Health, Nutrition, Injury Prevention, Detection and Control of Infectious Diseases).
3. Health technology (e-health, Nanotechnology, Body-Area Network, Imaging and Image processing).
Authors are invited to submit their abstracts for oral and/or poster presentation online . The deadline for abstract submission is October 20th, 2016.
Notifications of acceptance of the submitted abstracts will be communicated by October 20th, 2016. Submitted abstracts are limited to 350 words each and will be published in the conference booklet, which will be available online and as a hard copy during the conference.
UAEU Faculty members awarded a UAEU and/or external research grant for the past 2 years in the fields related to the theme of the conference are expected to submit an abstract and actively participate in the Conference.
Graduate students as well as UAEU undergraduate students, who participated in summer research supported by SURE 2016 grants, are highly encouraged to submit an abstract.
